1. Tell us a little about your background, where are you from and when did you decide that you wanted to become a filmmaker? I am from Rochester, NY. I decided I wanted to see more monsters in film, and if I wanted that to happen, that I would have to step up to the plate. 2. What has been your favorite project to date and why? Its hard to say because they all have something that I deeply love about them. They are like my children and I try to not love one over the others. 3. Tell us about your latest project "Blade of Death". Any behind the scenes stories? The movie is about a 600yr old Samurai Knight that returns to life with a vengance. At one point a neighbors little annoying dog was barking all night long for a few days. One of our P.A.'s had a gun with a silencer. All I can say is that all of a sudden the barking stopped...and I was never quite sure why.... NOTE: I had NOTHING to do with that!!! AND was unaware!!! 4. Film Threat says your film Lord of the Dead..."uses great special effects and makeup with skill and grace" tell us about it. Well, to me FX is what a horror film is all about. So I try to put as much cool gore in my films as possible. You can tell from the pics on my website. 5. In most of your films you have written, directed, produced and even acted in. Is it stressful to wear so many hats? Yea it can suck balls at times. 6. From your experience, what do you think is the most important thing for a Director to bring to a set? Vision, and Organization. Without those two...you are lost. 7. What do you think makes a scary movie scary? I think its different for everybody. What might scare a 16yr old girl, might not scare you or me... 8. Any future projects in the works? Can you give us the scoop? Blade of Death 2!!! It looks like a guy in SC might be forking over $300,000 for it....Im crossing my fingers!!! 9. What is the biggest problem with Hollywood today? They keep the outsiders like us out. 10. Do you have any advice to aspiring independant filmmakers? Drink lots of Vodka. 11. Here's where we give you a word or phrase and you give us the first thoughts that pop into your mind.
