A man Victor, from a predominately poor family, is to marry a woman Victoria, who is from a supposedly rich family. But he screws up the rehearsal of his vows and goes into the woods to practice. But when he finally gets it right, he says his vows correctly and places the ring on a weird looking twig in the ground, which turns out to be the finger of the Corpse Bride she then claims to be his rightful wife and whisks him to the Land of the Dead. This is where things get to be very interesting for Victor.
This film was a very fun filled time, receiving only Two Skipped Beats it doesn’t hold up to their previous work of “Nightmare before Christmas†but it is definitely a fun time to be had by all. The animation was excellent and the acting voice work was done very wonderfully. To me it belongs in every GOTH child’s movie collection cause the fact of death brings us all a little life in the end.
