Variety.com reports today that there may be a fourth installment of the Terminator series on its way. “Terminator 4” was written by T3 writers John Brancato and Michael Ferris. The new script will pick up on John Connor in his 30’s while he’s leading whats left of humankind. Variety notes that this will be the first of a new trilogy. Unfortunately there will not be a part for Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A director for T4 has not yet been selected, but the film has a scheduled release date in Summer 2009.
