I agree with this review for the most part…but I must say, the book was one of my favorites in the series. They also comment on how a lot was left out…this is true, as the book was the longest of the series at over 850 pages…however, I think this film succeeded in a way that “Goblet Of Fire” failed miserably. The story still felt complete, even though a lot of little details and minor subplots had to be left out. In GOF TOO MUCH was altered and left out. It was a good movie, but for those who’ve read the book, it wasn’t a very good adaptation. OOTP is definitely my favorite of the film series so far, and I HIGHLY recommend it for everyone. It IS fairly dark, though, and may not be appropriate for children under the age of 10.
