According to Variety.com Warner Brothers is planning to produce another “Conan” film. Boaz Yakin (Remember the Titans) will write and possibly direct the Robert E. Howard feature. Warner Brothers is planning an early 2007 production to start filming. Variety also writes that Warner Brothers tried to revive the “Conan” franchise with the Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix) and then Robert Rodriguez (Grindhouse), but backed down when Rodriguez dropped The Directors Guild to film Sin City with Frank Miller.

The original Dino De Laurentiis produced “Conan” features starred now governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator).
