We found this interesting video on Youtube featuring a comparison of the Japanese One Missed Call ringtone vs. the American remake. Listen to the official One Missed Call ring tone below. In the remake of the Japanese horror film “Chakushin Ari” (2003), several people start receiving voice-mails from their future selves — messages which include the date, time, and some of the details of their deaths.

    I believe the American style has more of an erie syle to it. The japanese sounds to calm and doesnt give you that ghostly feeling.

    This is not the real version that they had in the movie this one SUCKS if you ask me. I’ve only been able to find the REAL version on this blogspot blog over at http://1missedcallringtone.blogspot.com
