According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Mads Mikkelsen (Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale), Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace, RocknRolla) and Alexa Davalos (The Mist, The Chronicles of Riddick) have signed on to the Clash of the Titans remake being directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Transporter 2).

Sam Worthington (Rogue, Terminator Salvation, Avatar) is toplining as Perseus, who is put on a quest to save a beautiful princess and defeat the God of Hell Hades.

Mikkelsen is playing Draco, a skilled fighter and leader of the Praetorian Guard that accompanies Perseus. Davalos is Andromeda, the captured princess, and Arterton is Io, who is instrumental in bringing the winged horse Pegasus to Perseus.

Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay (Bug, Crazy/Beautiful, The Tuxedo, Aeon Flux) wrote the script, which is largely based on Greek mythology.

Clash of the Titans is slated for a March 26th, 2010 release.
