Here’s a few Vancouver cast photos of Chaske Spencer who plays Lakota and Graham Green who plays Harry Clearwater in the upcoming “Twilight” Sequel entitled The Twilight Saga: New Moon has begun shooting in Vancouver. “New Moon” stars Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), Kristen Stewart (Adventureland, The Runaways), Nikki Reed (K-11), Ashley Greene (Skateland), Taylor Lautner, (My Own Worst Enemy), Jackson Rathbone (S. Darko) Dakota Fanning and Kellan Lutz.

Film Synopsis: After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

    Ok… so i’ve read the books 5 times and i don’t remember there being anyone called Lakota… Can anyone shed some light on it for me?

    Lakota is a native american nationality. I’m assuming you are referring to the imdb listing which everyone followed suit reporting. They didn’t know who was playing who so I think the actors were just listed as their nationality. All the others had been like that too.

    Mia, you are right. There is no one called Lakota. Chaske Spencer is playing Sam. Im not sure why they keep calling him that. Maybe it is part of his heritage or where he is from?

    Lakota is Sam Uley…I have no idea why they have it as Lakota, but it you click on it on imdb.com it says it is suppose to be Same.

    He/she is correct. Lakota are Sioux. The five actors playing Quileutes are all Native American or First Nations and their nationality is often listed next to their names. Hence the confusion.
