Yahoo! Movies and Superherohype.com have two brand-new character posters for the upcoming Guy Ritchie film “Sherlock Holmes”, one featuring Robert Downey, Jr. as the titular detective hero and the other with Jude Law as his faithful friend and sidekick Watson.
The film details the two, along with the femme fatal spy Irene Adler (played by Rachel McAdams) battling the machinations of the supposedly-deceased Satanic Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong) as he takes his revenge on London.
“Sherlock Holmes”, starring Robert Downey, Jr, Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams, hits theaters Christmas Day 2009.
