Today The King of Pop Michael Jackson was pronounced dead on June 25, 2009 at 2:26PM Pacific Time in Los Angeles. He was rushed to the UCLA hospital after an apparent cardiac arrest. Michael had been rehearsing for his 50 show comeback tour in London. Michael Jackson was born in Indiana on August 29th, 1958. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Callum Blue (“The Tudors”, “Related”, “The Secret Diary of a Call Girl”), has been cast to join the hit WB TV series “Smallville”‘s ninth season as the infamous General Zod. The Kryptonian villain Zod was actually first introducted in the 1980 film “Superman II”, played by Terence Stamp, though the character was later retconned into the history of the DC comic book character as a ruthless general and enemy of Superman’s family from his home planet, imprisoned and thus spared the destruction of Krypton.
