Jason Sudeikis Cast In Bounty

Jason Sudeikis (“Saturday Night Live”, “30 Rock”) has been cast in the comedy “Bounty Hunter” for Columbia, alongside Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. The movie centers on a bounty hunter named Milo, played by Butler, who is hired to track down his ex-wife Casidy, played by Aniston. Sudeikis will play Stewart, a friend of Casidy’s who is under the delusion that he is her boyfriend. Andy Tennant is directing, based on a script by Sarah Thorpe, and Neal Moritz is producing through Original Films. The Haunting in Georgia In The Works

Producer Gold Circle is developing a sequel to the 2009 supernatural horror film “The Haunting In Connecticut”, tentatively titled “The Haunting in Georgia.” The new film is expected to follow a somewhat similar path to the first film, which followed a family dealing with a haunted home that they buy after moving to the state. Ti West (“House of the Devil”) is directing “Georgia.” David Coggeshall is writing the screenplay. “A Haunting in Connecticut” $55 million domestically, making the film the twenty-fifth most profitable film of the year. Variety is reporting that TV host Olivia Munn, from G4′s daily “Attack of the Show”, has landed a role in the upcoming, highly-anticipated “Iron Man 2″ from Marvel Studios, a sequel to the 2008 summer smash “Iron Man”. Sean Penn Pulls Out Of Projects

Variety.com is reporting that Sean Penn has unexpectedly pulled out from two upcoming projects, citing the need for a sabbatical to spend time with his family. The projects would have been “Cartel”, about a man who goes to Mexico to save his son after crime cartels murder his wife, and “Stooges”, the much-talked about biopic about the legendary comedy team of the Three Stooges. It is unclear who will be replacing him in the productions. Penn was also in negotiations to star in “This Must Be The Place” from director Paolo Sorrentino, according to a report from the Cannes film festival. Brian Austin Green Joining Smallville

MTV’s Splashpage is reporting that fresh off the cancellation of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, Brian Austin Green will be joining the cast of the hit TV series “Smallville”. Green will be playing Metallo, aka John Corben, a Daily Planet journalist who is later transformed into the villainous cyborg powered by Kryptonite, the meteor rock that is lethal to the Man of Steel.
