According to the Hollywood Reporter, Maggie Q is joining Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet in the live-action big-screen adaptation of “Priest”, the Korean horror-Western manga, with Scott Stewart directing.

Adapted by Cory Goodman from the English translation from TokyoPop comics, the film is set in a world ravaged by a war between humanity and vampires. A warrior priest (played by Bettany) abandons his duties to team up with a sheriff (Gigandet) to track down a roving robber band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Q will play a vampire-hunting priestess who joins Bettany on his quest.
