DreamWorks Animation has announced that Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill have joined “Oobermind”, which will be hitting theaters November 5th, 2010. Ferrell is replacing Robert Downey Jr. in the title role of Oobermind, a supervillain who managed to finally defeat his arch-rival Metro Man (voiced by Pitt). Universal City, CA- Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Halloween Horror Nights,” beginning a 16-night run on October 2, will present an all-new “live” attraction based on the classic horror/slasher film franchise, “Halloween” and the film series’ murderous antagonist, Michael Myers, per an agreement reached between the theme park and Compass International Pictures. “Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Myers,” an interactive horror walk-through experience, will be the first attraction based upon the “Halloween” films to be created by a U.S. theme park. According to a report by the Hollywood Reporter, NBC has picked up a live-action adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic series “Midnight, Mass.” Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts will be writing the project for Warner Bros. TV and the Jinks/Cohen Co. studio. “Midnight, Mass.”, created by John Rozum, follows the Kadmons, Adam and Julia.
