The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that “Invincible” director Ericson Core is directing the third “XXX” movie, “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage” for the studio Columbia Pictures. Neal Moritz and Joe Roth are producing, and Vin Diesel is returning to the role he originated in 2002′s “XXX” directed by Rob Cohen. John Brancato and Michael Ferris wrote the script for the film, which details Cage’s return to the world of espionage after an 8-year absence. Jet Li, a publicist said today, is returning to the Chinese film industry in a non-martial arts role, according to a recent report by the Los Angeles based magazine The Hollywood Reporter. Mr. Li is due to start shooting what is tentatively titled “Ocean Paradise” in China, soon, and is scheduled for release some time in 2010.
