According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anton Yelchin and Jennifer Lawrence have been announced as joining the cast of “The Beaver,” the new dark comedy Mel Gibson film directed by Jodie Foster.

Written by Kyle Killen, Gibson stars in “The Beaver” as a depressed man who clings to a beaver puppet. Yelchin will be playing his son and Lawrence his girlfriend. Yelchin recently appeared in “Star Trek” and “Terminator: Salvation” this past summer, while Lawrence recently starred in “The Burning Plain” and the upcoming “Winter’s Bones.”

No other information has been released so far about this project.
