Mandeville Films, the Disney-based production company that recently produced the comic adaptation of “The Surrogates” starring Bruce Willis, has picked up the political superhero thriller comic book “Cla$$war” for a big-screen adaptation.

“Cla$$war” was published by Com.x between 2002 and 2004, and was created by writer Rob Williams with artists Trevor Hairsine and Travel Foreman. It tells the story of a government-created superhero who decides to go rogue and fight not only his former teammates but also the government that made and sanctioned him, in order to expose the shocking truth about his creation.
