Working Title Films has started to move forward with the Mark Wahlberg-fronted remake of the Icelandic thriller “Reykjavik-Rotterdam”, about a former smuggler and freight-ship operator who is pulled back in for one last job by an old friend.

No director has been announced for the project, though Aaron Guzikowski (“Prisoners”) has been announced as writer. Wahlberg is attached to produce alongside Stephen Levinson of Leverage, and Working Title partners Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, with Liza Chasin and Evan Hayes onboard as executive producers.

No other information about the project, including a title or release date, has been released yet.

Stay tuned to for more on this project.
