Writer Attached To Deep Sea Cowboys

According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer Anthony Peckham (“Invictus”, “Sherlock Holmes”) has been attached to work on the script for “Deep Sea Cowboys”, the DreamWorks Studios action project. The action film is an adaptation of Joshua Davis’ article for Wired magazine, about an underwater salvage crew that tries to save a capsized Japanese cargo ship. The film will be a real-time adventure as the salvage crew race against the clock to get to the ship’s dangerous cargo and claim the reward for finding it. Writers Tapped To Adapt Uncharted Video Game

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Columbia has tapped Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (“Sahara”, “Dead Of Night”, “Cowboys & Aliens”) to script the adaptation of the hit video game “Uncharted: Drake Fortune” for the big screen. Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner are all attached to produce. So far no director has been announced.
