One of the television developments from last year that garnered attention from horror fans was the news that the AMC network wanted to create a series based on Robert Kirkman’s zombie comic series The Walking Dead. The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog has now announced that the network has ordered a pilot for the show, which almost certainly guarantees that the show will be picked up to become a full series. The 32nd annual Sundance Film Festival, one of the most anticipated showcases for new movies from American and international independent filmmakers, began on January 21 and runs until the 31st. Not only will more than 100 movies premiere during the 10-day festival, Sundance’s organizers have decided this year to make the selections accessible to the public, not only to those who attend the event in Park City, Utah.
