Olivia Wilde Joining Cowboys and Aliens

Olivia Wilde (TV’s “House”, “Tron Legacy”) is in negotiations to join Daniel Craig (“Quantum Of Solace”) in the big-screen adaptation of the graphic novel “Cowboys & Aliens”.
Being directed by Jon Favreau for DreamWorks, the film is based on the Fred Van Lente and Andrew Foley graphic novel for Platinum studios. The sci-fi Western tale is about cowboys and Native American warriors find themselves both under attack by invading aliens in mid-19th century Arizona.
Wilde will play a character named Ella who ends up joining the mysterious protagonist, a gunslinger portrayed by Craig.
Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci wrote the script and are also producing the project. “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof contributed to the script. Steven Spielberg, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are also attached as producers for “Cowboys & Aliens,” with Favreau and Denis Stewart serving as executive producers.
