David Schwimmer, best known for playing Ross Gellar on the hit NBC 1994-2004 sitcom ‘Friends,’ is engaged to his photographer girlfriend, Zoe Buckman. Entertainment Weekly announced on March 14 that the actor’s rep confirmed the news. This will be the first marriage for both Schwimmer, 43, and his 24-year-old fiance.

The couple first met in London while Schwimmer was helming ‘Run Fatboy Run,’ a comedy released in 2007. Since then, the two have been living together in Chicago. Schwimmer is working on the play ‘Trust’ there, which he wrote with Andy Bellin. ‘Trust’ is playing at the Lookingglass Theatre until April 25.

‘Trust’ is also currently being developed into a movie, which Schwimmer is editing. The movie stars Clive Owen and just finished filming in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
