McG and Amanda Seyfried (“Dear John”, “Jennifer’s Body”) are attached the film adaptation of the Rolling Stone article “The Girl Who Conned The Ivy League”.

Based on a bitch by Lorene Scafaria, the article told the story of Esther Reed, a high school dropout who used a string of false identities and elaborate lies to con her way through life and scam herself admission into both Harvard and Columbia University. Her conniving ways end up landing her on the US Secret Service’s 10 Most Wanted List and becoming the target of a nationwide manhunt before being arrested in 2008.

No other information has been released yet on the project.
