A feature-full length film version of “Hobo with a Shotgun”, one of the fake trailers from the 2007 double-feature “Grindhouse”, is in the works.

The clip was created by Jason Eisener, John Davies, and Rob Cotteril, and starred David Brunt, all from Nova Scotia. It was one of several fake trailers in “Grindhouse”, the double-feature project featuring the films “Planet Terror” from Robert Rodriguez and “Deathproof” from Quentin Tarentino.

According to Ain’t It Cool News, filming on “Hobo With Shotgun” is set to start in Halifax on Monday and Rutger Hauer has been cast to star. David Brunt will not be returning to the project.
