Daniel Dae Kim (TV’s “LOST”) has signed on to joing Samuel L. Jackson and Kellan Lutz in the action thriller “Deathgames”. The film’s official synopsis reads; “the story centers on a young man (Lutz) who is kidnapped by a sadistic mastermind (Jackson) and forced into a modern gladiator arena, where men fight to the death for the entertainment of the online masses. Rob Letterman has been brought on to direct, with Nicholas Stoller re-writing, for “Stretch Armstrong”, the big screen adaptation of the action figure. With “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner attached to star, the film is based on the 1970′s Hasbro action figure that could pull and stretch its limbs like putty. The toy was relaunched again in the 1990′s. Letterman directed the upcoming “Gulliver’s Travels” for 20th Century Fox, (where he previously worked with Stoller), and co-directed “Monsters vs. Aliens”. Before Cameron Douglas son was sentenced on April 20 for dealing methamphetamine and cocaine in New York City, his famous father, Michael, wrote to the judge, asking him for leniency, the Associated Press (AP) reported. AP added the actor wrote that the Douglas family’s long history of drug abuse sparked his son’s drug habit. Douglas also wrote that while his son is an adult and is “responsible for his own actions,” Cameron’s substance abuse problems and drug dealing were a result of “genes, family and peer pressure.” Douglas’s half-brother Eric died in 2004 from a drug overdose. During a press conference on April 19 in Moscow to announce a charity concert, Grigorieva appeared in front of cameras for the first time since the breakup and told reporters that “I can tell you that we have split up, suddenly and recently.
