David Hackl (“Saw V”) is going to be helming a big-screen adaptation of “The Butcher Bride”, a novel by Vince Churchill. J.R. Reher has written the adaptation of the story, which was first published in September of last year. Writer/director Greg Mottola (upcoming “Paul”, “Adventureland”, “Superbad”) has been tapped by Paramount Pictures to pen the screenplay for “Important Artifacts”. The brother of recent Academy Award winner and comedienne Mo’Nique, Gerald Imes, appeared on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ on April 19 to publicly admit that he molested her when they were children. Imes said he wanted to apologize for the abuse, which began when he was 13 and she was 7, and continued for about a year. “I abused and betrayed the trust of another sibling, my sister, my blood sister,” Imes told Winfrey, adding “I’m sorry, Mo’Nique. Brooke Mueller has initiated the separation process from Charlie Sheen, her husband of just 23 months, Star Magazine is reporting. Mueller ultimately decided to leave the troubled marriage was when Sheen reportedly reverted back to his partying bachelor days and was caught with a paid escort in L.A. The reported cheating, combined with the ‘Two-and-a-Half Men’ star’s pending criminal charges of assault, criminal mischief and menacing after their Christmas Day fight in their Aspen home, were the final straws for Mueller.
