Britney Spears and her boyfriend/agent Jason Trawick have decided to end their professional relationship, PEOPLE reported on May 11. The two have decided to instead focus on their personal relationship. Spears’ rep confirmed the news to the magazine, saying Trawick decided to stop being her agent while she “…has been busy in the studio working on her next album.”
The couple started dating last summer, and almost immediately, rumors of an impending marriage have surfaced. The Huffington Post even reported in August after the Teen Choice Awards that Spears showed up at the ceremony wearing a diamond ring.
While Spears and Trawick have not confirmed they are engaged yet, their relationship remains serious. Even Spears’ mother, Lynn, has shown her approval for Trawick, saying “He’s the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids (Spears’ sons, four-year-old Sean Preston and three-year-old Jayden James, with ex-husband Kevin Federline) love him, and he’s stable.”
