After his ‘Nightline’ interview, during which he said he was abused as a child and doesn’t want to divorce Sandra Bullock, Jesse James’ former stepmother, Janina James Coan, denies his claims are true.  TMZ reported on May 26 that Coan, who married James’ father Larry when James was in high school, was appalled by what he said about his father. After months of speculation that he had a part in his wife’s death, Brittany Murphy’s widower, Simon Monjack, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home, PEOPLE reported on May 24.  Monjack’s rep, Roger Neal, said his client, who is also remembered for writing and producing Sienna Miller’s 2006 movie ‘Factor Girl,’ needed a heart bypass, but he kept pushing it aside. Monjack wanted to instead keep his focus on a September gala for the Brittany Murphy Foundation, Neal also said.  He added that his client also died of a broken hear, after Murphy died on December 20. The divorce proceedings between rapper Nas and singer Kelis are now officially over, TMZ reported on May 25.  The papers were filed on May 21 in L.A. County Superior Court, but some arrangements still need resolution.  One of the biggest disputes is the settlement requirement that Nas has to pay kelis $10,000 per month in child and spousal support, an amount he is claiming is too much.
