Are you a Twihard living in a major city? Well, if you’re checking out The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this weekend, there’s a chance one of the film’s stars could be catching it with you thanks to Summit Entertainment s effort to have the cast “show their appreciation for their fans, and thanking them for all of the excitement, enthusiasm and support they have shown.”
Now is this a fantastic way to market a film or what? It’s likely that all of the diehard fans have already seen the film, so what better way to lure them in for another round than by creating the potential that one of their idols could be at the screening? Even more than a mere marketing ploy, the whole concept is just, well, nice. This may just be another film for the studio and actors, but there are tons of people out there who really take the series to heart. Even a glimpse of one of the stars of the film could make their day.
