Heather Locklear has finished her voluntary 30-day, in-patient rehab program for prescription drugs, TMZ reported on July 3. The ‘Melrose Place’ actress successfully completed the program and is doing well, the website also reported.

Although Locklear’s entry into rehab coincided with her hit-and-run accident near her Westlake, California home in April, her decision to get treatment had nothing to do with the incident, TMZ added. The website was the first to report that Locklear allegedly hit a ’No Parking’ sign near her home in her gated community. Police determined the car that hit the sign was registered to the actress and her ex-husband, Richie Sambora.

Police declined to prosecute the actress, however. They cited insufficient evidence, as they couldn’t definitely determine who was driving.
