Vanessa Paradis revealed in an interview in the August issue of Marie Claire UK how she keeps the passion alive with her boyfriend of 12 years, Johnny Depp, Stylelist.com reported on July 9. The French singer, actress and the cover model for the issue said that the most important thing to keeping a relationship going is to be lucky enough to find the right person.
The 37-year-old Chanel Coco Rogue lipstick and Coco Cocoon handbag model also said that she and Depp aren’t always together. “…the fact that we’re not together every day plays a big part in keeping our relationship stable,” she also said. Paradis added that they respect and admire each other. They also know that if they want their relationship to survive, “…we must give each other space, allow each other to go off on our own and trust each other.”
Paradis also said that “Not everyone is lucky enough to be given space and trust. You’re really lucky if you find someone you can trust when you spend time apart.”
