Howard Stern and Larry King are trading insults with each other, the New York daily News reported on July 13. King started the fighting when he told Steppin’ Out Magazine that he doesn’t want to be compared to the shock jock, who he doesn’t think would be a good replacement for him when he steps down from his iconic CNN show in the fall. “He’s not tasteful at all…I regard (Howard) Stern as worthless.”

Stern retaliated by called the CNN legend a ‘loser’ and the ‘luckiest man in show business’ at a weekend party in the Hamptons. He then called King a ‘f…ing ass…..’ on his satellite radio show.

The shock jock also pointed to the fact that earlier this year King was accused of having sex with his wife’s sister. Stern then asked, “…and he’s saying that I’m tasteless?” 

Stern also said that King’s show only became successful because he had no competition when it first started. But “As soon as MSNBC and FOX News gave him a little bit of competition, the cards folded. Let’s be honest, he didn’t retire willingly. The man had one foot in the grave.  It’s obvious, he is no longer relevant,” Stern said. As of yet, King hasn’t offered any more insults towards Stern.
