‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi was arrested for disorderly conduct on July 30 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the filming location of the first season of the hit MTV reality show, US Weekly is reporting. The 22-year-old was reportedly intoxicated when she was arrested.

Seaside Heights chief of police Thomas J. Boyd told the magazine that Polizzi was “…escorted from the beach by patrolmen and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct…near the boardwalk.” She was taken to police headquarters and was later released on a summons.  A police spokesperson added that Polizzi will likely have to pay a fine, even though she didn’t have to pay bail to be released from custody.

The website Hollywood Life also reported that Polizzi was seen drinking from a beer bong and doing body shots at a bar. She returned to Seaside Heights with the rest of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast to film the show’s third season, after the current second season was filmed in Miami.
