Emma Roberts Plays Ball In Two New Images From The Winning Season

Posted by Perri Nemiroff On August - 3 - 2010 0 Comment

Emma Roberts doesn’t only hang out at parties with the kids from Twelve and run from the killer in Scream 4, she plays basketball too! ComingSoon has two new images of Roberts on the set of James C. Strouse’s upcoming comedy The Winning Season. The film stars Sam Rockwell as Bill, a former basketball star who loses it all to booze. He gets a second chance when asked to coach his daughter’s high school varsity basketball team.

This one’s been around for quite a while. Images first started floating around back in 2008, just before it made its debut at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Lionsgate picked up the piece after it showed, but for some reason isn’t releasing it until September 3rd of this year. Considering that date is just a month away, I’d like to bet a trailer is on the way.
