After LeBron James made the surprising announcement earlier this summer that he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat, no only were his fans upset, but his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, wasn’t happy either. PEOPLE reported on August 9 that Brinson told the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar that Miami is not her favorite place.
“Vacationing there is great. You go for three days and get some sun and it’s time to go home,” the NBA star’s girlfriend also said. She added that it will be an adjustment, but they’ll make it. “We’re not complaining. Whatever (LeBron) felt was comfortable, I’m with him.”
Even though the two aren’t married, James feels that Brinson will be there for him no matter what. “We’re really comfortable with the way things are now. And it’s not up to me. When it happens, it happens. If we do it, I want it to be forever,” she said.
