Patti Stanger, who stars on Bravo’s hit reality show ‘Millionaire Matchmaker,’ ended her engagement to real estate executive Andy Friedman on August 14, Popeater.com is reporting. She confirmed the news on her Twitter page, writing “I just ended my relationship with (Andy). It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables.”

The two became engaged on her birthday this year, May 31, when Friedman gave Stanger a 4-carat heart shaped diamond in a white-gold setting while they were in Maui. She said at the time that she didn’t know he was “the one” at first, after they met through another matchmaker.

But Stanger will be busy when she begins filming the next season of ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ in New York. The premise of the show is that she sets up wealthy clients, but she said “the dating scene in New York is ‘bare’ compared to Los Angeles,” where she filmed the show’s first two seasons.
