Julia Roberts, Scott Pilgrim and a horde of man-eating piranha may have been no match for Sly and the gang, but the devil is a different story. Not only did The Last Exorcism snag the top spot from the The Expendables but this week’s other newcomer Takers, too, but not by much. Paris Hilton was arrested just before midnight on August 28 in Las Vegas for suspicion of possessing cocaine, Popeater.com is reporting. Officers pulled the 29-year-old socialite over and allegedly found a white powder in her purse that tested positive as cocaine. ABC News is also reporting that she was booked into the Clark County detention center, but was quickly released on bail. The car is believed to be driven by Hilton’s boyfriend, nightclub owner Cy Waits, while Hilton was in the passenger seat. New details about the death of Martin Short’s wife are surfacing, and RadarOnline.com is reporting the cause may have been linked to a faulty oxygen tank. Nancy Dolman died suddenly on August 21 at the Pacific Palisades home she shared with Short in California. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a 911 emergency call that morning, in which a woman said Dolman wasn’t breathing.
