Nick Loeb, who is dating ‘Modern Family’ actress Sofia Vergara, was admitted tot he intensive care unit at a Bel Air hospital on August 23 after he was involved in a car accident, TMZ is reporting. Paramedics rushed tot he scene of the crash near Beverly Glen around 4:30 pm. Loeb, who was involved in Florida politics before he moved to L.A. and began pursing a career in television production, had “a severely broken leg and a deep gash across the chest” when he was admitted to the hospital. Martin Short’s rep has confirmed that his wife of 30 years, Nancy Dolman, died at their Pacific Palisades home in California on August 21, Popeater.com is reporting. An official cause of death for the 58-year-old former actress has not yet been released. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to an emergency call made from the house that morning, and was there for 30 minutes. However, no one, including Dolman, was taken to the hospital.  The news comes after she announced in 2007 she was diagnosed with cancer. George Michael has pleaded guilty to two drug charges, including driving under the influence and possession, at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court in London, the Associated Press (AP) reported on August 24. The popular 1980s singer admitted he was under the influence of drugs and had marijuana in his Range Rover when he crashed into a Snappy Snaps photo shop near his home in North London on July 4. While the former Wham! lead singer only spoke when entering his plea and confirming his identity, police added that he had to be roused when they arrived at the scene.
