David Hasselhoff is embarrassed he was the first celebrity voted off the current season of ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ Popeater.com is reporting. The former ‘Knight Rider’ actor thought he had a bigger fan base, and “He would have never agreed to even participate if he thought for one second he would be the first to go,” the website is reporting.
The former ‘Baywatch’ star also didn’t accept the elimination with grace, as he is blaming everyone else except himself. “Backstage after the show, he was blaming the producers, the lighting guys and even the costume department,” Popeater is also reporting. He thought if he paid homage to ‘Baywatch’ by dancing in red swim trunks and having more say in his choreography, he would have stayed longer.
Kym Johnson, Hasselhoff’s professional dance partner, even stayed in the competition longer when she was dancing with Jerry Springer, who hosted ‘America’s Got Talent’ for two seasons while Hasselhoff was a judge. “If it wasn’t enough to say goodbye to judging (‘Talent’), now for the foreseeable future, he’ll be the guy that America decided was less talented than ‘The Situation’ and Bristol Palin,” Popeater is also reporting.
