The assault charges brought against Jodie Foster by a 17-year-old boy have been dropped by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, RadarOnline.com is reporting. The attorney’s office declined to prosecute because lack of evidence in the case. The District Attorney was given the case after the Los Angeles Police Department tried to get a statement from the actress for three months, but was unable to do so. The boy accused Foster of battery after a May 29 incident in the parking lot of the Grove shopping complex in Los Angeles. The teen told police that he saw Foster and tried to take a picture. After two sexual harassment lawsuits were filed against Casey Affleck by two women who worked on his documentary ‘I’m Still Here,’ the director settle both out of court, PEOPLE reported on September 15. Amanda White and Magdalena Gorka, who both worked as producers on the movie about Affleck’s brother-in-law, Academy Award-nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix, sue for $2 million and $2.25 million, respectively, in July.
