Taylor Swift’s former manager, Dan Dymtrow, is continuing his war against the Grammy Award-winning singer and her parents, Popeater.com is reporting. Dymtrow is saying the Swifts have cheated him out of millions of dollars by firing him just before Taylor achieved major commercial success.
In court papers filed to a New York federal judge, Dmtrow said he signed Taylor in 2004, and “steered (her) on the path to stardom.” He added that her parents, Scott and Andrea, then “conspired to shut him out to avoid paying the five to ten percent commission he was promised.” Dymtrow also claims that he introduced Taylor to Scott Borchetta, the CEO of Big Machine Records, who eventually signed her.
In response to Dymtrow’s claims, Taylor’s lawyer, Paul LiCalsi, said that his claims are ludicrous. “Even if there were some merit to his claims, paying him…would defeat the whole purpose of the law in New York, which is to protect minors.”
