While it was reported last month that the movie would begin filming in March, and Keke Palmer was the first cast member to sign on, Marvel didn’t want to rush production. Jack Black and writer-director Steve Pink have acquired the rights to the semi-satiric book ‘How to Survive a Robot Uprising,’ Slashfilm.com is reporting. The book gives insights into the current state of robotics, speculates how robots could rise against humans and provides humans with tips on how to survive such an uprising. There isn’t any word yet on whether or not Black will be starring in the film.
