Shape Editor-in-Chief Valerie Latona has apologized to readers for putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover of the current October issue, E!Online.com is reporting. Enough readers complained to the magazine that Latona felt she had to address the issue. “You are all in good company…as you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting (LeAnn) Rimes on the cover,” Latona wrote in a letter to fans. She further wrote “Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal.” Latona also said the magazine wanted to show that everyone is human, even celebrities. “And this woman in particular found strength…

Greg and Colin Strause, the directors of the upcoming anticipated movie ‘Skyline,’ set to be released on November 12, are already working on a sequel. The brothers said they have already done a 45 page treatment for a second film. The Strause brothers plan on going ahead with it, as long as the first makes “a tenth of what a normal event movie does.” While Sony, the studio behind ‘Skyline,’ hasn’t released an official budget amount for the movie, as a comparison, ‘Iron Man 2′ made $300 million. Noomi Rapace is the top contender for the female lead role in  Ridley Scott’s upcoming ‘Alien’ prequel. The actress, who is most well known for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish film adaptations of the Millenium books, has competition from such other actresses as Natalie Portman and Carey Mulligan, but Scott seems intent on casting Rapace. Rapace has already gone through a month of auditions.
