Miley Cyrus is once again leaving behind her ‘Hannah Montana’ alter ego and has signed on for another non-Disney movie. The singer-actress will be playing the lead in Exclusive Films’ new comedy, ‘So Undercover’. The film is expected to hit theaters sometime next year.

In what has been described as ‘Mean Girls’ meets ‘Miss Congeniality,’ ‘So Undercover’ will follow Cyrus, a rough FBI Agent, who goes undercover in a sorority house. Further details of the movie have yet to be revealed. However, sources confirmed the film is being produced by Cyrus’ company Hope Town.

‘So Undercover’ is already being compared to the Lindsay Lohan 2004 hit movie, as at the time of it’s release, she was one of Disney’s biggest clean-cut stars. She starred as a nice girl who pretended to be a mean girl to take the popular crowd down. Over the past few years, however, Lohan has been making more headlines for her drug habits and other personal issues, instead of her acting and singing careers. Cyrus has also made headlines recently for her raunchy performances.
