Relativity Media Picks Up David Ellis' Shark Movie

Relativity Media has picked up the domestic rights to director David Ellis’ as-of-yet titled 3D shark movie. The film, which was once called ‘Shark Night 3D’ and is now just referred to as ‘The Untitled David R. Ellis 3D Shark Thriller,’ is currently in post-production. It’s expected to receive a wide release sometime next year. Ellis, who is known for directing such movies as ‘Final Destination 2,’ ‘The Final Destination’ and another animal thriller, ‘Snakes on a Plane,’ is working off a script written by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes. ‘The Crow’ remake suffered another blow when Mark Wahlberg confirmed he won’t be portraying the lead role of Eric Draven.
