Nicole Richie and Joel Madden married in a ceremony at her father, Lionel Richie’s, Los Angeles estate on December 11, People.com is reporting. The two have been together for four years and have two children, two-year-old daughter Harlow and one-year-old son Sparrow, together.
Several celebrities, including Madden’s twin brother and Good Charlotte bandmate Benji, Gwen Stefani, Ashlee Simpson and Kris Jenner, were in attendance. There were approximately about 130 guests in all in attendance at the ceremony, where white tents were set up around the estate’s gardens.
Richie wore a Marchesa gown and received a Neil Lane ring from Madden. The two reportedly wanted an Old Hollywood, elegant, glamorous-themed wedding. Of the couple, Benji Madden said they “are the perfect example of the kind of parent I want to be one day.”
Richie and Madden announced they were engaged last February. She later had a bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in September with several celebrity friends, including Sam Ronson and Christina Aguilera.
