David Goyer Hints at Superman Reboot Plot

Screenwriter David Goyer hinted at what the storyline for the new ‘Superman’ reboot, to be directed by Zack Snyder, may focus on, Cinemablend.com is reporting. Goyer penned a forward for the new graphic novel Superman: Secret Origin by Geoff Johns. After reflecting on one of the scenes in the book, he wrote that he’s halfway through his screenplay. While Goyer admits that he may become hindered in finishing the script, like many previous ‘Superman’ screenwriters before him, he hopes to be inspired by Johns’s Superman stories. Vin Diesel is still promising a second sequel to his 2000 breakthrough acting role, ‘Pitch Black,’ and is saying returning director David Twohy wants him to combine three different body types for the movie, Slashfilm.com is reporting. On his self-run Facebook page, the actor said Twohy wants him to have ‘the DiNorscio type, the Dom type and the lean Furyan type…all in the same movie.” The three types are the characters Diesel portrayed in ‘Find me Guilty,’ ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise and in the ‘Chronicles of Riddick’ series. Dawn Holland, the Betty Ford Center worker who was allegedly assaulted by Lindsay Lohan, has been fired, RadarOnline.com is reporting. While Holland admitted her job was terminated because she breached patient confidentiality by doing an interview with TMZ, she added that she’s “going full force.” Detectives from Riverside County have said they are investigating Lohan’s alleged fight with Holland on December 12. Christian Bale is set to star as a Catholic priest in Chinese director Zhang Yimou’s next film, ‘Nanjing Heroes,’ Comingsoon.net is reporting. The movie, which is expected to begin filming next month, will show the “brutal 1937 invasion and pillaging of the Chinese capital by Japanese troops.” ‘Nanjing Heroes’ is based on the novel The 13 Women of Nanjing, which was written by Chinese author Yan Geling.
