Diane Kruger has taken over French actress Eva Green’s role of Marie Antoinette in the upcoming film adaptation of the Chantal Thomas novel Farewell, My Queen, Cinemablend.com is reporting. The movie, which is set to be directed by Benoit Jacquot and will also star Gerard Depardieu, Virginie Ledoyen and Lea Seydoux, will focus on the last days of the French Revolution. Mark Wahlberg is claiming that he’s reuniting with his ‘Fighter’ director David O. Russell for the movie adaptation of the video game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Slashfilm.com is reporting. While fans of the video game are protesting O. Russell’s attachment to the film, and are calling for Nathan Fillion to appear in the film instead of Wahlberg, the director is still going ahead with the project. O.
