David Arquette is the latest celebrity to voluntarily check into rehab, PEOPLE is reporting. The actor entered a live-in rehab facility to address his alcohol addiction after hosting a New Year’s Eve party at Arquette & Beacher’s Madhouse Theater at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

While it hasn’t been publicly revealed which facility Arquette has checked into, TMZ is reporting that he sought help because he feels its “the right thing to do for his family.” The actor, who will next appear on-screen in this spring’s ‘Scream 4′ alongside his estranged wife, Courtney Cox, has a six-year-old daughter, Coco, with her.

Arquette’s rehab stint comes after he announced his separation from the ‘Cougar Twon’ star in October. He then appeared on Howard Stern’s radio show last month, where he admitted to having a hard time adjusting to life without Cox and Coco. “I’ve been drinking a lot because I’m heartbroken,” Arquette confessed.
