The Hood Internet has put an unusual twist on the P.O.S. cover of the Beatles track, “Dear Boy.” The Chicago-based duo has impressively mixed the track off the Minnesota Beatle Project Vol 2 with La Roux’s “In For The Kill.”
Some might think it is best to leave a Beatle’s track untarnished, but we think otherwise with this remix. P.O.S’ version of “Dear Boy” was a favorite off of the cover album for its haunting and mysterious qualities. Remixing it with “In For The Kill” enlivens the song and positively lets it enter another genre of music, that of electronic.
