After remaining silent at the Golden Globes ceremony about their plans to become new parents, Nicole Kidman and her husband of four years, Keith Urban, announced on January 17 that they welcomed their second daughter together on December 28, PEOPLE is reporting. The baby, who’s named Faith Margaret, is the couple’s biological daughter, but was delivered via a surrogate carrier at The Women’s Hospital at Centennial in Nashville.
Kidman and Urban, who are both 43, issued a statement regarding the new addition to their family. “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful…No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process.”
Faith Margaret joins the couple’s first daughter, Sunday Rose, who was born in July 2008. She also joins Kidman’s adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor.
